How NOx Faults Present
NOx sensors are often smart sensors with their own control module. Check wiring, power supply and CAN communication before assuming the sensor or software is at fault.
- Upstream or downstream NOx sensor circuit and plausibility faults
- NOx sensor heater or communication faults on the CAN network
- SCR efficiency faults that point to the sensor or the catalyst

Compatibility
NOx monitoring is usually linked to the SCR strategy, and requests often need to be considered together with an AdBlue / SCR solution. Compatibility is confirmed per file.
Limitations
- Not every ECU or software version can be supported
- Other modules on the network may still report a missing sensor
- Disabling NOx monitoring affects emissions testing
- Files are not supplied for vehicles intended for public road use

- Is a NOx solution legal for road use?
- No, in many countries disabling NOx monitoring on a road vehicle is illegal. Files are only supplied for off-road, motorsport or export use where that use is lawful, and an off-road or export label does not by itself make the work legal. The ordering business is responsible for confirming compliance.
- Do I also need an AdBlue / SCR solution?
- Often, because NOx monitoring and SCR control are linked. Describe the full request at upload and support will confirm what is needed.
