Compatibility
On modern diesels EGR control is closely tied to air-mass, boost and emissions monitoring. Some engines use high-pressure and low-pressure EGR circuits, and both must be described accurately. Compatibility is confirmed per file.
Limitations
- Not every ECU or software version can be supported
- Disabling EGR increases NOx emissions and affects emissions testing
- Hardware blanking must match what is declared at upload
- Files are not supplied for vehicles intended for public road use

- Is an EGR solution legal for road use?
- No, in many countries disabling EGR on a road vehicle is illegal. Files are only supplied for off-road, motorsport or export use where that use is lawful, and an off-road or export label does not by itself make the work legal. The ordering business is responsible for confirming compliance.
- Do I need to blank the EGR valve as well?
- It depends on the vehicle and the request. Declare exactly what hardware has been changed so the file is prepared correctly.
- Does the engine have more than one EGR circuit?
- Some engines have both high-pressure and low-pressure EGR. Include the engine code and ECU details so support can confirm the layout.
